Typically observed during the initial operational phase after the completion of solar photovoltaic cell modules, the primary cause is the interaction between boron and oxygen within the cell induced by sunlight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, boron is a common dopant used to enhance the conductivity of silicon. However, sunlight triggers the reconfiguration of oxygen in silicon, leading to the formation of defects such as boron oxide (B2O3), resulting in a decline in cell efficiency.
