Agricultural solar power generation is an initiative in which solar power generation equipment is installed in the space above pillars erected on farmland, and sunlight is shared between agricultural production and power generation.<\/span>
Solar panels are installed on poles above the farmland at a higher position than typical ground-mounted types, and with a larger gap between them. The panels are fixed at a high position to prevent tractors and other agricultural machinery from running on the farmland below, and to prevent them from interfering with manual work. Also, the reason why the panels are fixed with a large gap is to allow enough sunlight to reach the crops through the gap.<\/span>
This is sometimes called solar sharing because sunlight is shared between farming and power generation.<\/span><\/p>\n
