全固体電池とは、電解液がなく正極と負極の間に電解質セパレーター層（従来のセパレーターとは異なり、固体電解質がセパレーターの役割を果たします）のみがある電池のことを言います。しかし、現在はまだ量産技術が一部のみしか確立されておらず、本格的に使用されるまでには至っていません。

An all-solid-state battery is a type of battery that lacks a liquid electrolyte. Instead, it uses a solid electrolyte layer, which serves as a separator between the positive and negative electrodes. This differs from conventional batteries where the solid electrolyte acts as both the separator and the medium for ion movement. While the technology behind these batteries is promising, mass production has only been partially established, and they are not yet in widespread use. In the wake of the increasing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs), the safety of these batteries is gaining attention. Consequently, both automakers and electronics manufacturers are actively investing in research and development.
