持続可能な開発目標、略称SDGs(エスディージーズ)は、2000年から2015年までのミレニアム開発目標（MDGs）の後継として、2015年から2030年までに持続可能な世界を実現するための17のゴールの世界開発目標である。持続可能な開発目標は、2015年から2030年にかけて、開発の社会的、経済的、環境的側面に統合的に徹底的に取り組むことで、持続可能な開発路線への転換を目指すものである。

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), , are the 17 global development goals set by the United Nations to continue to guide global development efforts from 2015-2030 after the expiration of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) from 2000-2015. The SDGs aim to shift to a sustainable development path between 2015 and 2030 by thoroughly addressing the social, economic and environmental dimensions of development in an integrated manner.
