Smart houses are next-generation eco-friendly homes equipped with ‘energy-saving’, ‘energy-creating’ and ‘energy-storing’ facilities, and incorporate systems that enable the home to be self-sufficient in the energy it needs for daily life and to use it without waste. They are homes in which solar power generation systems, storage batteries, energy equipment and home appliances are centrally managed using information technology (IT), and energy consumption in the home, including electricity and gas, is optimally controlled.
